Well I am sorry that I have not updated for a while. It has been interesting up here on Mt Baw Baw. We are now in Summer mode & have a number of things that we need to get done so that we are all prepared to bring in the new year.
My new job is as the Promotions Officer, where by I am to promote the Mountain & what we can do. The idea is for me to go to Businesses & Schools & try & get their business. So what I have done is redone the Conference Pack, nearly completed the Schools Pack. I have also redone the Mountain biking Trail Map, & also the Walking trail maps. I will also be driving the Bus that we have.
On other news my Leadership Program finishes this week with our closing residential to be held at Wilsons Prom. It will be really nice to see everyone again.
I think that is about all of my news for now.

The Season is OVER!!!!!!!
Well the Ski Season is now over. The Resort has been running on a Stand By mode for the last week & will continue to do so for the next. It has been a generally quiet week except I now have my new focus as the Promotions Officer for the Resort.
This means that I am to get out there & promote what the Resort has on offer. At the moment I am working on a Conference Package a Schools Package & I need to organise a new flyer for Mountain Bikers & look at the Walking Maps that we have done.
I also have to write an application for the upcoming Baw Baw Shire Business awards. This is going to be fun as the guy that Im supposed to do it with is on leave for a couple of weeks from the end of this week. Yeah.
We had the Staff Party last night & it was a themed night where people had to turn up in Pajamas. It was a great night with many people having a sore head today. Not me though. I worked and then went home to bed. I still had a lot of fun though.
That is about all for now.

What's Been Happening
Well it has been a while since my last posting & that is because I have been very busy.
Normally I have been updating my blog on a Sunday night when working in the Bar it is supposed to be quiet, well it hasn't been. Over the past month & a half it has been very busy. I had a night when some Guests were unruly & kept me locked into the Bar later than what should have been. I had a weekend off as I was sick with the Flu & had fainted at Work. I went to the Dcotor & had test done to make sure that everything was Ok. Which it is & the Doctor believes that it was a virus that I was fighting that caused me to be unwell.
I have also been offered a permenant position at Mt Baw Baw as their Sales Officer. This is very exciting as it may lead to Marketing as well. It is exciting as I do not have a Marketing background, & because they trust me to be able to do the job. They would also like for me to do some more study so that I can be a real assest to them as they try to get a bigger customer base for Winter, but also for Summer. It is a challenge that I am nervous about as I do not have the backgroud for it.
In other news I have just come back from a Holiday in Queensland with Carly. We both had a really good time fot the 5 days that we were away. While we were in Queensland we went to Dream World, Australia Zoo, Geelong vs Brisbane, Sea World, & Movie World. We rode most of the rides, had a photo taken in the Diary Chair of Big Brother & just relaxed while enjoying a glass of Bollinger. We arrived back into Melbourne last night. We took a stack of photos & just had a great time.

Whats News
Hi everyone
Sorry I havent been up to date for a few weeks. I have been busy when I have wanted to do a post, which is the way it should be since I do them while working.
Since my last posting I have read Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows. I absolutely loved it. It was an interesting read, & the outcome was really not what i expected but I couldnt believe who got killed throughout the book. It was actually sad to know that a number of really nice characters were killed during the course of the book. The other interesting thing was the way Harry was treated by Mrs Malfoy near the end it was very interesting but i get why she did it.
Work has been good, & I am deffinately still enjoying it. The weekends are starting to get quieter even though the Mountain is still really busy.
I had a scare last week when I was travelling up in the loss of my cars brakes. It was scary travelling up without them & I was late for work. I had the car towed & found out that my snow chains caught onto the brake fluid line & moved it against the drive shaft which wore a hole into it & bleed the line. It has now been fixed & I have been told to look at getting some smaller wheels as the 17" sit too far back where 15" will not & it will be safer when it comes to the chains.
The other thing that has happened while at work was thatI fainted on Saturday. I got to work & started to feel light headed, ate but still didnt feel right. I had the shakes through most of the day & a really bad headache. I was sent home after fainting & had a few hours sleep. The sleep did not help the headache or how I was feeling. I had something to eat, watche some dvds then went back to sleep. Waking the next day I still didnt feel right so I rang & said that I would not be coming in to work. I also sent a text message to a friend saying that I still wasnt well & that I was not going to be working. Later on a received a phone call from Rachael wanting to know if I was ok & that if I wanted to she would send Ski Patrol to check me out or get me in to see the Doctor. I said no to that. Rachael also offered me the option of having tomorrow off so that I could rest. I said to her that I would think about it & that I would let her know in the afternoon. I had another small sleep & awoke still not feeling any better so I decided that I would head home & have the next day off.
So here I am at home having had the day off. I am feeling better. I went to the Doctor this morning who said that it could be a bug that I am fighting, but he sent me off to have a couple of tests just in case. I had an ECG to make sure that my Heart is ok, & Blood Test to make sure that I am not aneamic. HTe ECG seemed fine & when I am home within the next few weeks I will go in & get the results from the Blood test.
Well that is what has been happening over the last few weeks, I am enjoying the snow & praying hard that I will get work after the season. If i dont get it I have absolutely no idea what i will do, ut hope for the best.

School Holidays Are Over
Well the School holidays are now over thankfully & hopefully the Resort will quiet down a bit. Today was quieter than last Sunday. & I was able to finish close to time. I picked up an extra shift tonight & I am working in the bar for one of the girls who is feeling a bit sick. I am happy for the extra work but I would have loved to have the night off to get to bed early, but thems the breaks.
I am enjoying it up here it is going really well. I am going to be starting to do more in the office from this week, so hopefully I will be able to kick the cold that I have at the moment. It is also good as it bumps my hours up even more, not counting today I have done approximately 112 hours for the fortnight, huge hours & they will go down a fraction as I will be in the Office more, but the guys in there still do some big hours. Another 12 hour day for me today.
Well it has been a busy night for me which is amazing considering the Mountain has been partying for the last 2 nights as there were a couple of Birthdays & a going away.

Two Weeks In
It is now nearly two weeks that I have been working up at the snow & it has been very busy. The School holidays & approximately 60cm's worth of snow has kept us all very busy. Over the weekend we fed over 700 people in Village Central, Sunday lunch was our busiest period with us feeding 212 people across the 4hrs, it was absolute madness.
I am enjoying the work & am pretty tired at the end of the day. At the moment all I am doing is sleeping & working, & let me tell you we are working hard, Sunday I did a 14hr day with 45 minutes in breaks.
The people that I work with are really nice & I get along with them all. One of the girls that 5 work with is a bit of a bitch & a clock watcher. She is happy when she is getting breaks & going home early, but has issues when she is not able to do those things. She is nice most of the time but can turn a bit when she is not getting her way.
I am still the pig in the middle with Admin & Food & Beverage still fighting over me. I have been told though that I should be doing more admin within the next week as they have been awaiting the delivery of a desk which arrived yesterday. So hopefully I will be a bit more organised with what my job will actually entail & where I am supposed to be positioned.
Well that is all for this posting, we have a busy weekend coming up with Camp Quality coming up & also the last weekend of the School Holidays.

Whats Happenin
Well my first few days at the Snow have been busy with the start of the School holidays making us busy.
Monday & Tuesday were very busy as the days were clear & sunny. Wednesday was a crap day with rain & snow falling all day & making it very hard to see anything. All we made in Village Cantral (VC) was hot chocolates, which are a pain in the arse.
I am in demand from two departments on the Mountain. The Reservations Department & the Food & Beverage Department are both wanting me to be with them Full Time. I have been working in Reservations in the Morning & by 11:30 am I am to be at VC or the F & B Manager starts to get his nickers in a twist and starts ringing the Office wondering where I am.
It makes it hard to complete tasks as Im only in the Office for 3hrs, then too run across to work for VC makes it hard. I would much prefer to do whole days in either department so that I can get some jobs done.
It is also very interesting sharing a room & bathroom with complete strangers. The guys that i share with, most of them snore so it makes it very interesting when it comes to going to sleep & 3 other guys are snoring away. It is also hard at there is only one light in the room & my bed is hidden by a closet, so I cannot read my book, I have now fixed that by getting a book light.

First Day At the Snow
Well I have finally made it to the top of Mt Baw Baw to work. I arrived yesterday & worked for 2 hours in the Pub last night. Had a crap nights sleep waking every hour & had a headache as well as a stomach ache. The three guys that I am sharing a room with all snore & that also didnt help whn I was trying to go to sleep.
Today has been busy which is good considering they had to cancel the Rail Jam. I worked in Village Central during most of the day. Tonight I am in the Alpine Hotel which was steady for about an hour & I now at 8:20pm have no customers left in the place, & I have no idea what the hell I am supposed to do other than try & keep the place tidy.
It has been an interesting day & I enjoyed working in Village Central, ( 160 covers for lunch ), & I am in administration tomorrow morning then VC during the afternoon & then Im pretty sure into the Bar again tomorrow night.
Virtually everyone I have met has been really nice & it should be an interesting experience.

New News
Since my last posting a few exciting things have changed. I said the other week that I was changing jobs to work for Horizon Petroleum as a Store Manager. This has now changed due to the fact that they would not allow me to continue with the Gippsland Tourism Leadership Program, or go on the holiday that I had booked for the end of August.
I have now accepted & leave on Thursday to work at the Snow at Mount Baw Baw. I have a few people to thank for the fact that they lined up an Interview & the job within 2 hours.
I start on Thursday doing a micture of Administration/Reservations & Food & Beverage. I am excited to begin this new challenge. I know that I will be very busy, working 6 days averaging about 50 hours a week.
I might have a go at Skiing, but who knows.
The other news is that on Saturday during my last shift at work I was offered a job in WA working in a 50 room Hotel for 1 of my old bosses friends. It will be a job in Administration & Reservations. I think that it would be a really interesting thing to do to go over & work in WA. The Hotel is a few hours away from Perth & is pretty much the only Hotel in the area, so it is busy, the other thing is that they person that has offered me the job is that he is also looking at the Caravan Park which is very close by to the Hotel. I am hoping that I will hear from the Guy over the next few months to let me know if the offer that he has put in on the place has been accepted. I will see what happens during the Ski Season will greatly depend on whether or not I go over. I know that I can go over as I have nothing keeping me here in Victoria but Family.
I know that my Family are the most important thing too me in this world but I want to experience as much of this Industry as possible. Plus a really good friend should be going to Europe if she pulls here finger out, so who knows.

A Short Story
Following is a short story that some friends & I created last night using our initials.
Once upon a time in the Land of Constant Jelly Wank, many happenings did occur. One day the Anal Bum Bandit & Raging Jock Hopper were Really Gunna Cum & let out a Big Purple Fart, but due to a lack of water based lube only Smelly Bum Fluff was all they could manage.
Because of this problem Raging Jock Hopper & Anal Bum Bandit decided to seek the wisdom of Smelly Log Shooter who was currently shacked up with Mighty Tight Vag & sleeping with Totaly Loose Clit. "Fellas if you are gunna continue this path of Really Gunna Cum then you will end up with a Really Shitty Arse" he said.
Meanwhile Cunty Jerk Bitch was having an operation on her Dirty Ass Scrotum & turned into Kinky Lesbo Trannie.
At the end of the day Raging Jock Hopper & Anal Bum Bandit decided that they couldn't live without water based lube.
And they all lived happily ever after in the land of Constant Jelly Wank.
THE END.

A New Life
I am on a new journey from Today, yesterday I submitted my resignation at work & will finish up at the end of next week. I am excitied about new opportunities that may present to me. I hope that all of my friends at work do not suffer from the issues that the owners put on them as they know what I have been thinking, & how unhappy I have been over the last few months.
I am very happy with my decision that I have made & it was the first time in a long while I was able to get up without feeling like shit & that I wanted to stay hidden in my bed sleeping of the day.

Happier today
Today I am feeling happier. I applied for a job in Melbourne at Jeff's Shed that I think I would be good at with the experience that I have.
I also went for a 30km ride with a mate of Mine & it was great to get out ont he road & not have to worry about anything else.
I also went & had an appointment to have some new Orthotics made, which will hopefully help my sore & tired legs.

A Few Days Off
Well due to a major headache that will not go away I have been given a few days off from work, much to the disapointment of my boss. She is only stressed to the hilt cause one of the Chef's walked out on Friday & the Head Chef leaves in a few weeks.
But the truth is I really don't care. I am at the point where I am sick of the guilt that she throws around to all of the staff, the fact that it is never her fault, & that there are rules for a select few & the rest us have too suffer over the other rules that she has.
I am on leave as I am stressed over the shit that has been going on at work. I work my arse off for no thanks or appreciation for all of the shit that I do.
I am seriously looking for other work as I am sure that if things keep going on the way they are, me and a few other staff will leave, taking our knowledge of the guests with us.
